Questions
About Hyplr
What does Hyplr do?
Hyplr finds the bills, deliveries and deadlines in your files and mail, and shows each one when it’s time to act. It lives in the menu bar. When a payment email arrives, it asks if the bill is paid.
Who is Hyplr for?
People who handle their bills and paperwork on a Mac — freelancers, consultants, small-business owners, people living abroad — and anyone whose bills come as emails and PDFs.
How is Hyplr different from a bill reminder app?
With a reminder app, you type each bill in. Hyplr finds the bills you already have — in Gmail, Apple Mail and the PDFs on your Mac — shows when each is due, and links each one to its payment.
Doesn’t my Mac or Gmail already do this?
Your Mac can find a file when you ask for it, and Gmail can point out some bills and packages inside Gmail. Hyplr works across your files and all the mail you connect at once, speaks up when something is due, and links each bill to its payment.
Does Hyplr pay my bills?
No. Hyplr never pays anything and never opens a link found in an email. Open bill opens your own document; you pay the way you always do.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not today. Hyplr is a Mac app.
Your mail and files
What does Hyplr read?
The folders you allow — Desktop, Downloads, Documents, your screenshots and folders you add — and Gmail and the accounts in Apple Mail, if you connect them. It never reads code projects, app libraries or app folders.
Does Hyplr read all my mail?
From Gmail, it reads the last 90 days and each new email, and skips Spam, Trash and Drafts. From Apple Mail, it reads new mail in every account in Mail. It doesn’t read Outlook on the web or other mail apps.
Does it work with Outlook, iCloud Mail or Yahoo?
Yes, through Apple Mail: add the account to Mail, and Hyplr reads its new mail there. Gmail can be connected directly. Mail you read only on the web, outside Gmail, isn’t read.
What does Hyplr keep?
Hyplr keeps what it understood (amounts, dates, senders, subjects), never copies of documents or email bodies.
Will Hyplr move or change my files?
Reading never moves or changes a file. The one thing that moves files is Tidy up, and only when you start it: you see every move first, nothing is deleted, and Undo puts files back — free, at any time.
Can I choose what Hyplr reads?
Yes. Each folder and each mail account has its own switch in Settings, and you can tell Hyplr to ignore a sender. Remove a source, and Hyplr forgets what came only from it.
How do I delete my data?
Every way, step by step, is on Delete your data.
When Hyplr is unsure
What if Hyplr gets something wrong?
Every card shows why: the document and the email it came from, with the matched values marked. Fix a value, say it’s not a bill, or unlink two things — Hyplr remembers. When Hyplr isn’t sure, it asks first.
Can Hyplr close a bill I haven’t paid?
Not by itself: when a payment email arrives, Hyplr asks if the bill is paid. Every close has Bring back.
What happens to bills from before Hyplr?
A bill that was already more than a week overdue when Hyplr first saw it, with no payment found, is never shown in red. Hyplr can’t see your bank, so it asks: paid already, or not paid yet?
Bills, packages and deadlines
Which languages does Hyplr read?
Hyplr’s screens are in English. The languages it reads bills in are listed here when it comes out.
Do I need to add tracking numbers?
No. Hyplr finds them in the emails from shops and carriers.
Does it work with my carrier?
Hyplr reads the shop’s and the carrier’s emails, whoever they are. What it can show depends on what those emails say.
Does Hyplr cancel subscriptions for me?
No. It shows the date to cancel by and opens the notice; you cancel with the company.
Does Hyplr find subscriptions on my card?
No. Hyplr can’t see your bank or card. It finds the renewal and trial-end notices in your mail and files.
Plans and paying
How much does Hyplr cost?
When Hyplr is out, your first reading and its summary are free, then a free week with no card. After that: a yearly or monthly plan, or a one-time Deep review. Prices come with the release.
What happens when the free week ends?
The panel pauses after its last day, with no notification. Nothing is deleted: your files and mail stay where they are, and Undo for Tidy up stays free. Choose a plan, and Hyplr catches up on what arrived meanwhile.
Can I use Hyplr on more than one Mac?
Pro works on up to 3 Macs; each macOS user on a Mac counts as one. Each Mac keeps its own panel and its own Gmail sign-in. A Deep review covers one Mac.
Is there a one-time price?
A Deep review is paid once: one full reading, then the summary and the map kept as they are that day, plus one Tidy up. Pro, which keeps the panel live, is yearly or monthly.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, within 30 days of the first payment of any plan. Write to support@hyplr.com.
Do I need an account?
No. You buy in Hyplr, and your key comes by email, for your other Macs.
Your Mac
Which Macs does Hyplr run on?
Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later), macOS Tahoe 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on. Intel Macs can’t run Hyplr.
Why does Hyplr need Apple Intelligence?
Apple Intelligence is how Hyplr reads your bills, deliveries and contracts. Hyplr uses Apple’s on-device model, never Apple’s cloud: see Privacy & Security › Apple Intelligence Report. Turn it on in System Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Does Hyplr need the internet?
Reading doesn’t. Gmail needs a connection to download new mail. Hyplr checks your license about once a day when you’re online, and keeps working offline until the end of your paid period plus 14 days.
Will Hyplr slow down my Mac?
The first reading runs in the background. It pauses on battery, in Low Power Mode and when your Mac gets warm, and goes on by itself.
Is Hyplr on the Mac App Store?
No. Hyplr is downloaded from hyplr.com, and its updates come from there too.
Who makes Hyplr?
Digitaleria S.L., a company in Valencia, Spain. Write to support@hyplr.com.
Hyplr is coming to the Mac.
