Terms of Use and Sale
Effective: October 7, 2026 · Version: 1
EspañolThese terms are the agreement between you and Digitaleria S.L. for using Hyplr, the app for Mac, and for buying its plans. Please read them before you buy: checkout asks you to accept them. To keep a copy, save or print them as a PDF: hyplr.com/terms.pdf. Our Privacy Policy (hyplr.com/privacy-policy) explains what Hyplr does with your information.
1. The short version
This summary helps you find your way; the sections after it are the terms.
- Hyplr is made and sold by Digitaleria S.L., a company in Valencia, Spain.
- Pro is a subscription, yearly or monthly, for up to 3 Macs. Deep review is paid once, for one Mac.
- Try Hyplr first: the free week needs no card.
- Prices include tax. You pay in euros or US dollars, depending on your Mac’s region.
- Your money back within 30 days of the first payment of any plan: write to support@hyplr.com.
- In the EU you can also withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. The 30-day refund covers that right.
- Pro renews until you cancel, and we email you 35 days before each yearly renewal. Cancel any time from Hyplr’s Settings: Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Hyplr works offline. When your Mac is online, it checks your license once a day.
- When a plan ends, Hyplr pauses. Your files and mail stay where they were.
2. Who we are, and who may use Hyplr
Hyplr is made and sold by DIGITALERIA S.L. (“we”, “us”), a Spanish private limited company (sociedad limitada) with its registered office at Calle Centelles 30, 46006 Valencia, Spain, tax ID (NIF) B13942461, entered in the Registro Mercantil de Valencia (Tomo 11397, Libro 8675, Folio 146, Sección 8ª, Hoja V-211805, Inscripción 1ª). Write to us at support@hyplr.com, or call +34 623 468 548. Our legal notice is at hyplr.com/legal-notice.
“You” is the person who uses or buys Hyplr. If you buy for a company or another organization, “you” is that organization too, and you confirm that you may accept these terms for it. A “consumer” is a person buying for purposes outside their trade, business or profession; where the law protects consumers more, these terms say so.
You must be 18 or older to use and to buy Hyplr.
3. What Hyplr does, and what it needs
Hyplr is an app for Mac that finds bills, deliveries and deadlines in your files and mail. It reads your files, Apple Mail and Gmail on your Mac — Gmail only if you connect it. The Privacy Policy explains what Hyplr reads, what it keeps and what it sends.
What it needs. Hyplr needs a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later), macOS Tahoe 26 or later, and Apple Intelligence. It reads documents and emails in the languages Apple Intelligence supports on your Mac. Gmail needs a Google account and an internet connection; buying, activating and the license check need a connection now and then (section 11).
What it can’t promise. Hyplr reads your documents and emails automatically, so it can miss a bill or read a detail wrong. Every card shows why — the files and emails it came from — so you can check the original before you act. Hyplr never pays anything, and never opens links found in your mail for you: paying, and meeting your deadlines, stay your decisions. This describes how Hyplr works; it doesn’t reduce your rights under the legal guarantee (section 16).
Your files. Hyplr doesn’t move, rename or delete your files. The one exception is Tidy up, which runs only when you start it: after you’ve seen and approved a preview, it moves loose bills, orders and contracts into Documents › Hyplr. It never deletes a file or moves one to the Trash, and Undo puts files back where they were. As with any app, keep a backup of your Mac.
Try it first. Without paying, Hyplr reads your files and mail and shows you a summary of what it found; the free week then turns on the live panel (section 5). Use both to check that Hyplr works on your Mac, with your documents, before you buy.
4. Your license
Hyplr is licensed, not sold. We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use Hyplr under these terms; we and our licensors keep every other right in it.
- Without a plan, you may install Hyplr, let it read and show you its summary, and use the free week (section 5).
- Macs per license: Pro, up to 3 Macs; Deep review, 1 Mac; a beta key, 3 Macs.
- What counts as one Mac: one macOS user on one Mac. Two macOS users on the same Mac count as two. Reinstalling Hyplr on the same Mac doesn’t count again; a Mac set up with Migration Assistant needs activating again.
- Moving a license: deactivate a Mac in Hyplr (Settings › Plan › Deactivate This Mac…), or deactivate another Mac from the list Hyplr shows when your license is already active on all its Macs, or from the page your key email links to. A license can deactivate Macs 3 times in 90 days; write to us if you need more. Moving a Deep review means a new reading on the new Mac; the old Mac keeps its review, paused.
- Each Mac on its own: each Mac keeps its own panel and signs in to Gmail on its own.
- Your key activates your license; keep it to yourself. If it leaks, write to us and we’ll replace it — Macs already activated keep working.
- Beta keys are ours to give to testers: Pro on 3 Macs, free until 30 days after launch. When a beta ends, Hyplr pauses unless you buy Pro; if you buy before the end, billing starts at the end. A beta is a test version given free of charge, and it may have more problems than a release.
- Passing it on: you may not sell, rent, lend or share your key or your license beyond these limits. A Deep review, which is paid once and doesn’t end, you may pass on to someone else once you’ve deactivated it on your Mac.
- Open-source parts: Hyplr includes open-source software and fonts, listed in About Hyplr › Credits, each under its own license. These terms don’t limit your rights under those licenses.
5. The free week
- The free week turns on Hyplr’s live panel — new bills, deliveries and deadlines as they arrive — for 7 full days after the day you press Start free week. No card is needed.
- It comes with one Tidy up: one run, at any time from your first summary until your free week ends. Undo for Tidy up is free forever, on every plan and while Hyplr is paused.
- When the week ends, the panel pauses until you choose a plan. Nothing is charged: we never asked for your card.
- The free week, and its Tidy up, come once per macOS user per Mac. So that they aren’t offered again, Hyplr keeps one small record in this Mac’s keychain — when its free week started and whether its free Tidy up was used — even after you reinstall Hyplr or use Forget Everything. Activating Pro or a beta key on a Mac also uses up its free week; a Deep review doesn’t.
- Buying Pro during the free week: section 7.
6. Buying
The plans.
- Pro, yearly and Pro, monthly: the live panel, its cards and the weekly summary, and Tidy up as often as you like, on up to 3 Macs. Pro is a subscription: it renews automatically until you cancel (sections 8 and 9).
- Deep review, paid once, for one Mac: Hyplr finishes reading your files and mail — for up to 7 days — then keeps the summary and the map as they are that day, for as long as Hyplr is on that Mac. It includes one Tidy up, and no live panel. If 7 days aren’t enough, Hyplr says what it hasn’t read, and Read the Rest finishes it later as part of the same purchase. A later Deep review is a new purchase: a fresh reading, a new review as of that day, and one more Tidy up.
How to buy.
- In Hyplr, choose a plan and press Get Pro or Buy Deep review.
- Checkout opens in your browser, on a page run by Stripe, our payment provider. It shows the plan, the price and, for Pro, when you’ll be charged. Until you press the button that pays, you can correct what you entered, or close the page and nothing happens.
- Tick the box to accept these terms, and pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link.
- Hyplr turns on by itself on the Mac where you bought it. Two emails follow: ours, “Your Hyplr key”, with your license key and these terms as a PDF, and Stripe’s receipt with your invoice when you’re charged — at once, or for Pro bought during the free week, when the week ends.
Our contract is made when checkout confirms your purchase. These terms are published in English and in Spanish, and you can rely on either: if they ever differ, the version more favorable to you applies. We keep a record of each purchase, in Stripe and in our accounts, and every version of these terms with its dates; earlier versions are linked from this page, and we’ll send you the version you accepted if you ask.
Prices and taxes.
- The price is the one Hyplr shows before checkout, and it includes tax — VAT, or sales tax where it applies. Checkout charges exactly that amount. Your bank may add its own fees, for example for a payment in another currency.
- Your Mac’s region picks the currency: euros in the EU, the EEA and Switzerland; US dollars everywhere else. Checkout charges in that currency, wherever you are when you pay.
- Every purchase comes with an invoice, which Stripe sends for us. If you buy for a business, you pay the same price, VAT included.
- We may not sell Hyplr in every country; if we can’t sell where you are, Hyplr says so before checkout.
- If we change a plan’s price, your subscription keeps its price for as long as it renews.
7. Buying Pro during the free week
- Pro is on from the moment you buy. Billing starts when your free week ends, so you lose no free day.
- Right after you buy, we email you the date and amount of your first charge, and how to cancel before it.
- To cancel before your first charge, use Settings › Plan › Manage Subscription…: nothing is charged, and Pro stays on until your free week ends. Then the panel pauses.
- A Deep review bought during the free week is charged at once and doesn’t shorten the week: Hyplr keeps your review as it is at the week’s end.
- Pro bought while you have a beta key works the same way: billing starts when the beta ends.
8. Renewals
- Pro renews automatically at the end of each period — each year or each month — at the same price (section 6), charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel.
- Before a yearly renewal, we email you 35 days ahead with the date and the amount of the renewal, the last day to cancel, and how to cancel.
- Monthly plans come with Stripe’s receipt each month, and once a year we email you a reminder of your plan, its price and how to cancel.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again for up to 14 days and emails you each time. Pro stays on meanwhile, and Hyplr shows how to update your card. If every try fails, the subscription ends and Hyplr pauses.
- Switching plans, in Settings › Plan › Manage Subscription…: from monthly to yearly at once, with what’s left of your month counted toward the year; from yearly to monthly when your paid year ends.
- Where the law gives you more — for example in Germany, where a consumer may end a subscription that renewed after its first year at any time with a month’s notice — you keep that right, and we refund what you paid for the time after it ends.
9. Cancelling, and when a plan ends
- To cancel Pro, open Settings › Plan › Manage Subscription… in Hyplr: Stripe’s page opens in your browser, and you cancel there. You can also cancel on hyplr.com/cancel, or write to support@hyplr.com. Cancelling costs nothing.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro stays on through the last day of the period you paid for, in your Mac’s time, and Hyplr pauses from the next midnight. The period you’ve paid for isn’t refunded, except under section 10 or where the law gives you more.
- When any plan ends — the free week, Pro, a beta, or a license that was refunded — Hyplr pauses: it reads nothing new, sends no notifications and stops contacting Google until you choose a plan. Nothing of yours is removed: your files and mail stay where they were, the panel stays as it was on its last day, Undo for Tidy up stays free forever, and Forget Everything stays in Settings › Privacy.
- Coming back is a new purchase. Hyplr then reads what arrived while it was paused.
10. Your money back
The 30-day refund, wherever you live. If Hyplr isn’t right for you, write to support@hyplr.com within 30 days of the first payment of any plan, and we’ll refund that payment in full — no reason needed.
- The first payment is the first charge of a Pro subscription (when your free week ends, if you bought during it), or the payment for a Deep review — each Deep review is its own first payment.
- We refund through Stripe, to the card or account you paid with, within 14 days of your request. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- A refund ends the subscription at once, and with it the license: each of its Macs pauses when it next checks the license, as section 9 describes.
- Renewals and plan switches aren’t first payments. If something went wrong with one, write to us: we may refund it, and we will where the law requires it.
- If you dispute a payment with your bank instead, the license ends when the dispute opens. If the dispute is decided in our favor, write to us and we can restore it.
The right of withdrawal, if you’re a consumer in the EU or the EEA. The law also gives you 14 days to withdraw from your contract, without giving a reason.
- The 14 days start on the day you buy — the day checkout confirms your purchase — even when your first charge comes later (section 7).
- We don’t ask you to give up this right when Hyplr starts working, so you keep it while you use Hyplr. The 30-day refund covers it.
- To withdraw, use “Withdraw from contract here” on hyplr.com/withdraw — Hyplr links to it in Settings › Plan for 14 days after a purchase, and so does your key email — or write to support@hyplr.com, or send us the model form at the end of these terms, or any other clear statement. It’s enough to send it before the 14 days end.
- We confirm by email what we received, with the date and time we received it.
- We refund everything you paid for that purchase without undue delay, and at the latest 14 days after we receive your withdrawal, by the same means you paid, at no cost to you. If you withdraw before your first charge, nothing is charged and the subscription ends.
- After you withdraw, the license ends and Hyplr pauses on your Macs, as after a refund.
11. Offline use and the license check
- Hyplr works without an internet connection. When your Mac is online, Hyplr checks your license once a day. To check your license, Hyplr sends our license server a signed license token and a random install ID, nothing else.
- The check is how a renewal, a cancellation, a refund or a deactivated Mac reaches Hyplr.
- Offline, Hyplr keeps working until the end of your paid period plus 14 days; a paid period never pauses because your Mac is offline. If Hyplr couldn’t check your license by the end of your paid period, Settings › Plan says by when it needs to. After the 14 days, Hyplr pauses until it can check again; then it turns back on and catches up on what arrived meanwhile.
- A Deep review has no end date, so it never needs a check to stay on.
12. Updates and changes to Hyplr
- We release updates to fix problems, to keep Hyplr working with new versions of macOS and with Gmail and Apple Mail, to keep it secure, and to improve it.
- The updates Hyplr needs to keep working as these terms describe — fixes, security and compatibility updates — are included in your plan for as long as it lasts, and for a Deep review, for at least two years after you buy it.
- We may offer new versions or new features as a paid upgrade. You never have to buy one, and the plan you’ve paid for keeps working as described for its whole period.
- Hyplr installs only updates signed by Digitaleria S.L. They install when Hyplr restarts, and you can turn automatic checks on or off in Settings › General.
- If you don’t install an update we’ve told you about, together with what not installing it means, we aren’t responsible for a problem that update would have fixed.
- Changes beyond fixes. We may change Hyplr’s features for a good reason: a new version of macOS; a change made by Apple, Google or Stripe; security; the law; or to make Hyplr better. A change costs you nothing extra. If a change makes Hyplr clearly worse for you, we’ll tell you beforehand, and you may end your plan within 30 days of the change and get back what you paid for the time left.
13. Using Hyplr fairly
- Use Hyplr only for files and mail you’re allowed to read: your own, or your organization’s with its permission.
- Don’t share your key beyond your license, and don’t get around the license check, the activation limits or the free week’s record — for example by setting your Mac’s clock back.
- Don’t modify, decompile or reverse-engineer Hyplr, or copy it for others, except where the law allows it.
- Don’t use Hyplr to break the law or anyone’s rights, and don’t attack or overload our servers.
- If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms — for example by passing your key around — we may replace your key or end your license, after telling you why. If we end a paid license this way, we refund what you paid for the time left.
14. Gmail
- Connecting Gmail is optional. When you connect an account, you sign in on Google’s own page and give Hyplr Google’s read-only Gmail permission,
gmail.readonly; Hyplr asks for nothing else. Hyplr can’t change, delete or send your mail. - Connect only accounts you’re allowed to use. Some organizations don’t let apps like Hyplr read their accounts.
- Your Google Account stays under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Google isn’t a party to these terms.
- Hyplr’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- How Hyplr reads, keeps and protects Gmail data is in section 5 of the Privacy Policy. Before Hyplr uses Gmail data in a new way, Hyplr will tell you in the app and ask you to agree first.
- To disconnect Gmail and delete what Hyplr found in it: hyplr.com/delete-your-data.
- Google may limit or end Hyplr’s access to Gmail, for example when its rules change. If that happens, we’ll tell you, and section 12’s right to end your plan applies.
15. Stripe, Apple and Google
- Stripe handles payments for us: checkout, receipts and invoices, and the page where you manage your subscription. Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what you enter on its pages.
- Apple. Hyplr runs on macOS and uses Apple’s features, such as Apple Intelligence, Mail’s extensions and the keychain. Apple isn’t a party to these terms and isn’t responsible for Hyplr. Apple decides which Macs, regions and languages Apple Intelligence supports.
- Google. Gmail is Google’s service (section 14).
- We aren’t responsible for these companies’ own services, but your rights against us under these terms stay the same.
- Google and Gmail are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple, Mac, macOS and Apple Intelligence are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions.
16. Our promises, and our responsibility
The legal guarantee. Hyplr must work as these terms and Hyplr’s own description say. If it doesn’t, tell us: we’ll put it right within a reasonable time, at no cost to you. If we can’t, you may ask for a lower price, or end the contract and get back what you paid for the time Hyplr didn’t work as it should and for any time left. This covers your whole subscription; for a Deep review, a problem that shows within two years of its supply.
What we don’t promise. Apart from the legal guarantee and what these terms say, we make no other promises about Hyplr — for example, that it will find every bill or deadline, or read every document right (section 3).
Our responsibility. If we break these terms, we’re responsible for the loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit.
- If you’re a consumer, that’s the whole rule: these terms don’t limit your rights under consumer law.
- If you buy as a business, as far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for lost profit, revenue, business or data, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us for Hyplr in the 12 months before the claim.
Your part. Hyplr helps you keep track. Check an important bill or deadline in its original before you act on it.
17. Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms when the law changes, when Hyplr or how we sell it changes, or to make them clearer. We post each version here, with its date.
- If a change affects a subscription you have, we email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, at the address you used at checkout. It applies from your first renewal after that; if you don’t agree, cancel before that renewal. Changes the law requires may apply sooner.
- A Deep review you’ve bought keeps the terms you accepted, unless a change is to your benefit or the law requires it.
- Before Hyplr uses Gmail data in a new way, Hyplr will tell you in the app and ask you to agree first.
18. Law, courts and complaints
- Spanish law governs these terms.
- If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. You may bring a claim in the courts where you live or in Spain, and we may bring one against you only in the courts where you live.
- If you buy as a business, the courts of Valencia, Spain, decide any dispute.
- Complaints. Write to support@hyplr.com, write to our address in section 20, or call +34 623 468 548. We’ll confirm that we received your complaint, with a reference number, and answer within 15 days.
- Out of court. We aren’t part of any alternative dispute resolution scheme. If we can’t settle your complaint, we’ll tell you which body can hear it — for example, the consumer arbitration board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo) — and whether we’ll take part.
19. General
- These terms, together with what Hyplr and checkout showed you before you bought, are our whole agreement about Hyplr.
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over Hyplr, as long as your rights stay the same, and we’ll tell you. You may transfer yours only as section 4 allows.
- If we don’t enforce a right at once, we can still enforce it later.
